SPRING CLEANING – DONATIONS WELCOME!   

Do you have any items at home that are no longer needed that could be used at school?  We are looking to enhance our classrooms, and any donations of the following items would be greatly appreciated:

Children’s Books: 

Hardcover and softcover, in good condition

Toys in good condition: 

Playmobile, Lego, Fisher Price, Puzzles (with all pieces), Polly Pockets, Little Pet Shop, small cars, trains, paw patrol.

Board Games:  In good condition, with all the pieces.

Please drop off any donations to the school.  They will be distributed to all of the classrooms or to the school library, depending on the age level and need.

MUSICMAKERS

On Wednesday, April 25th at 5:30 p.m. our school choir will attend the Music Makers Concert at the Palais des Congrès, 50 Boulevard Maisonneuve in Hull.  The students have been working very hard during practices and are excited about their performance!

CHEERLEADING

We are very proud to announce that our school Cheer Team has been asked to perform at a Fury game on April 28th at TD Place.  The team will be performing a pregame routine on-field, prepared and coached by Ms. Boersma and Ms. Weir.

Tickets to the game will be available for purchase at a discounted rate starting Tuesday, April 3rd. Please send exact cash in an envelope marked with the student name, parent/ guardian name, and labeled as “Fury Game Tickets” before Friday, April 20th. Tickets are $21.00 each.

BASKETBALL

Ms. Given, Mr. Schultz, and M. Lemaire are proud and excited to be coaching the basketball teams this year. They have been practicing since early March, learning new skills, improving their game and learning the importance of good sportsmanship.

We are grateful to have this group of student athletes representing GGS at the tournament on Friday, April 13th at Symmes/D’Arcy!
