Photomania will be dropping off the proofs on December 1st. Retakes will be on Wednesday, December 6th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at their studio which is located at 368 St-André Street, Gatineau, Quebec. All orders must be back for pick-up on Tuesday, December 12th. The final copy of the pictures that were ordered will be in on December 20th.


Students in the drama club have been working hard to prepare for their upcoming play, “Holka Polka! A Fairy Tale” by D.M. Larson. The play will be presented for the school during the day on Wednesday December 6 and Thursday December 7. There will also be 2 evening performances at 6:00 p.m. on the same days. Admission for evening performances is $2 at the door.


 It will be pajama day on Friday, December 22nd.  Please wear your favourite pajamas.


On Friday, December 22nd at 10:10 a.m. we will have a Christmas Sing-a-Long in the gym.  Parents are welcome to attend.


The current pizza program will be ending on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017. Registration forms for our second eleven week program will be going home on Monday, December 4th and are due back in the office no later than Monday, December 11th, 2017. This program will commence on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 and will end on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017.


Greater Gatineau School is proud to host an ambassador from the Rick Hansen Foundation on December 18th.  The goal of the Rick Hansen Foundation is to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, is able to participate fully in where they live, work and play. Gisele Lamontagne will be visiting our school to share her story with all of our students.


Mr. Tarek Awad who is  with the Humanitarian Mission will be talking to the Grade 4 classes about his work he has done on Tuesday, December 5th.
