Our Outdoor Education Consultant Mr. Alan Earwaker will be working with our Grade 3 students in January this year.

They will be investigating mammal adaptations that are key to their survival.

Reminder that our new lunch program has begun. Subway lunches are served on Wednesdays to students who have signed up.



Please join us on Tuesday, January 14th from 6-7pm for a kindergarten workshop hosted by Ms. Boersma.

The workshop will cover learning strategies, educational activities and ideas, as well as preparation for grade one.

There will be snacks, as well as take-home goody bags and door prizes. Cost is FREE! Hope to see you there!


On Thursday January 23rd the kindergarten, grade 1 and grade 2 classes are going to have a Winter Activity Day at Lac Beauchamp from 8:30 to 11:30.

The grade 3, 4, 5 + 6 classes will have their Winter Activity Day on Friday, January 24th from 8:30 – 2:00.

Activities at Lac Beauchamp including tubing, skating, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing will be available for all students.

If you plan on being a volunteer for either day, please make sure you have a current security check with the school. Security checks are valid for two years.

Students must wear a helmet for skating and bicycle helmets are satisfactory.  Skates must be brought on the bus in a zippered bag.
