WEBSITE

Don’t forget to check out our school website. It is updated regularly with important information and you can see photos of our latest school activities. It is also another way to keep up to date on reminders from Mrs. Link. Congratulations you found it!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

If you have not registered for kindergarten next year, or if you know anyone who has a child turning five before September 30th please make arrangements to register with Debbie Stafford by e-mailing dstafford@wqsb.qc.ca or calling the school at (819)663-4842 extension 1.

IMPORTANCE OF THIRD TERM

Now that we have begun the third and final term of the year, it’s important for parents to remind their children to keep working diligently.  As the third term is worth approximately half of the total mark for the year, it is a very important term. There are also end of year exams to consider in the final months as well.

Good study habits and getting the proper rest will enable all students to do their best on the final exams.

HADLEY INFORMATION SESSION

On Thursday, March 21st from 5:30 to 8 p.m., grade 6 students and their parents are invited to an “Information Evening” at Hadley Junior High School.

Due to the tornado the grade sixes will not have a chance to visit Hadley with the school this year. It is very important that you take the time to attend this information session.

GENDER AND SEXUAL DIVERSITY PRESENTATION

Grade six students will have the presentation on March 11th to replace the February date which had to be rescheduled.

CHILD ASSAULT PREVENTION WORKSHOP FOR PARENTS

One of our community organizations, Espace Outaouais will be visiting your child’s classroom in April with a focus on preventing all forms of violence. A workshop will be available for parents prior to these sessions on the evening of Tuesday, March 26th to provide information and to allow for you to work with your child to continue with the prevention of violence at home. A letter will be sent home in March with more information.
