ARE YOU MOVING?

As we prepare for next year, it is very important that you notify the school if you are moving. Please call the school at 819-663-4842 and speak to Katharine at extension 0, with your change of address so we can up-date our files for transportation.

OVERDRIVE SUMMER READING LIST

Books are available from June 6th to August 15th.

This year’s theme is “Chill out and Read.” And, with 30 Juvenile/YA titles available for free and simultaneous use, there is plenty to keep students reading all summer long.

This year’s selection is a mix of ebooks, select audiobooks and read-along options.

KINDERGARTEN OPEN   HOUSE & REGISTRATION

If you have a younger child at home ready to start school or know of a friend, neighbour, or relative who has a kindergarten aged child, please contact Debbie Stafford at 819-663-4842 extension 1.

Early registrations help us prepare for next year, so please make an appointment soon.

Our “Kindergarten Open House” will be on Friday, June 7th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

DAYCARE SURVEY

We sent a daycare survey with the last newsletter. We would like to determine how many children need before and after school care next year or who are interested in our PD day program which is open to the whole school .  If you still have the survey at home and you are interested in any type of daycare next year, please fill it out and return it to school.

CHANGES TO THE HIGHWAY SAFETY CODE

Children will be required to sit in a car seat adapted to their weight and height until they reach the age of 9 or until they are 145 cm tall. The Code requires that seatbelts be worn correctly, even for a short distance. To learn a little more about the subject consult the following web link.
