October Principal’s Message

Date: October 2, 2018 Author: Jennifer Plaxton Categories: Principal's Message

An appreciation goes out to all parents who attended our Open House in September.  We were very pleased with the turnout but if you were unable to attend, please be sure to read all of important information that was distributed from your child’s teacher.  Parents’ help and support with your child’s homework and reading are necessary in ensuring your child’s success.

We have been practicing “Code Red” and “Fire Drills” this month, and the students have been doing a great job.  The Fire Department may come within the next few weeks to conduct a practice at the school.

We have two families that are in need of help after the storm. We are accepting food donations, gift cards (Grocery Stores, Walmart, Canadian Tire) and clothing, Girl’s size 7-10 months, girls’s size 8-10, Men’s size large, pants 38/32, and women’s size large/XL. Please send in any donation by Wednesday, October 3rd.

This year we will be having a cookie dough fundraiser because the school is now paying for all field trips and busing. Forms will come home on Friday, October 5th and are due back on Thursday October 18th. Your child is encouraged to sell to family and friends. Please do your best to sell as much as you can and make this our most successful fundraiser yet.
