Looking for a way to foster mutual respect – one of the Tribes Agreements? Try this: As a family, sit in a circle. Whisper a different feeling or emotion in each member’s ear, one at a time. Some examples are fear, surprise, sleepiness, itchiness, love and rage. Ask each person to act out their word nonverbally and the  others try to guess what the feeling or emotion is. This is a great way for children to learn visual cues which will help them better understand their classmates, friends and family members. Invite statements of appreciation: “I like the way you acted it out because…” I feel a lot like that when…”
